These mutual funds are considered as two of the flagship funds in the Invesco/Trimark lineup.

The Trimark Global Fundamental Equity fund has outperformed the Canadian stock market index by about 15% in the last 12 months or so.

It pays to diversify. 

Question: Would it have been better to invest in Canada or Europe in the last 12 months?

You would be thinking Canada of course!

But you might be wrong. Despite Greece, Italy, Spain, ECB and Euro woes and end-of-world predictions in all the major news media, take a look at the following chart. The blue line is the Invesco/Trimark Europlus Fund and the red line is the Canadian stock market index:

Lesson learned is again to diversify but also to seek opportunity when perceived risk is considered high.
